A few hours in Paris

My Qatar Airways flight from Doha arrived around 12:30 noon in Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and since my flight to Helsinki was not until the following day, I thought I would quickly check in at the Hilton Paris La Defense and then go to the city to explore the sights. My first stop was the Arc de Triomphe.

From there, I walked my way along Champs Ellysees which was full of people enjoying the Christmas markets.

Then I came to the end of Champs Elysees and continued walking to the Ferris Wheel lighted in the colors of the French flag.

Then, I ended my long stroll with the Louvre Museum.

Taking the metro, my last stop was the beautiful Eiffel Tower. I was only in Paris for a few hours but I was happy because I really made the most of it.

Lounge

The following day, it was time to fly back to Scandinavia and since I was flying in Finnair Business Class, I was able to visit the American Airlines Admirals Club located between Terminals 2A and 2C.

I also visited the Cathay Pacific First & Business Class Lounge which was located beside it.

Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport Terminal 2D

Boarding started at gate D52 at around 11:50 with premium class passengers and those with status getting priority boarding.

Cabin

My seat was initially 2D but decided to transfer to 3D afterwards. The cabin had 22 seats, 9 of which were occupied that afternoon flight to Helsinki. The legroom was spacious, at least for me.

Finnair inflight magazines

As soon as the passengers in the cabin were seated, one of the flight attendants offered to hang our coats. We were also offered some newspapers, and I chose the Financial Times.

Finnair Business Class meal

The pasta tasted really good ...

... as well as the terrine. I was also offered some coffee and tea but I declined.

We landed a few minutes ahead of schedule and after disembarking, I headed straight to the Finnair Premium Lounge.

CONCLUSION

There it was, another great flight in Finnair Business Class. I loved the fact that the flight attendants were very professional and at the same time engaging during the whole flight. The food served was really good specially the pasta and the Marimekko tableware were just lovely. Overall, I enjoyed everything about this this short flight from Paris to Helsinki. To all the crew on this flight, Kiitos!
